During the workshop we’ll cover:
Some of the different types of unpitched percussion instruments.
How to play those instruments.
What basic music notation means.
How to follow sheet music when playing a percussion instrument in a group.
This group is ideal for anyone completely new to reading music or plays an instrument but wants to learn about how sheet music works. By the end of the session, you’ll be ready to try your hand at playing a percussion instrument with a larger group (e.g one of our Misfits Instrumental Groups).
