Queen Symphonic: A Rock Orchestra Experience
The CBSO gets a rock-star makeover as they join forces with incredible vocalists (from the West End hit musical We Will Rock You) and a full rock band for a night of Queen’s greatest hits. You’ll find all the best-loved songs, from their very first hit single Seven Seas Of Rhye, through to the powerful epilogue to Freddie Mercury’s legacy, The Show Must Go On. Join us for this symphonic spectacular which pays tribute to one of the UK’s greatest ever rock bands and promises to be an epic night out!
This concert will be BSL interpreted.
RuPaul's Drag Race UK Series 4 Tour
The winner and top two finalists of Series 4 are yet to be announced but the tour will feature ALL 12 queens from the series so prepare to spend an evening with Baby, BlackPeppa, CheddarGorgeous, CopperTop, DakotaSchiffer, DannyBeard, JonbersBlonde, JustMay, LeFil, PixiePolite, SmintyDrop and Starlet.

Paul Simon’s ‘Graceland,’ reimagined by the incredible London African Gospel Choir. Don’t miss this astounding & uplifting reinterpretation of Paul Simon’s classic album. Colourful, magical & awe inspiring, it includes all the hit singles, ‘Diamonds on the soles of her shoes’, ‘The boy in the bubble’ ‘Homeless’ & Graceland’s biggest smash, ‘You can call me Al.’
The LAGC are an internationally recognised collective of African singers, musicians & dancers. The total richness & harmonies of the Choir’s rhythmic, evocative & empowering voices, create an overwhelming & truly uplifting musical event. Ask anyone lucky enough to have experienced this astonishing, life affirming show… To compare it to anything else, would be like trying to measure love, or joy, with a ruler.
Wallace and Gromit: The Wrong trousers with Live Brass Band
2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the Academy Award® winning short film Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers and the WFEL Fairey Band are delighted to announce that they have teamed up with Aardman to exclusively bring the film, with soundtrack performed by brass band, to Birmingham
Audiences can expect a performance promising fun for all the family with a short concert by players from the band, followed by the fantastic film, with original score by Julian Nott arranged and performed by the WFEL Fairey Band.
Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers tells the tale of eccentric inventor Wallace as he takes in a new lodger, a devious penguin. Wallace's loyal canine companion, Gromit, is moved out of his bedroom to make way for the new guest, but Gromit soon discovers all is not as it seems when the cool-as-a-cucumber new arrival takes a keen interest in Wallace's techno-trousers.
Approx 1 hour long. A 25 min family friendly set from the band followed by an interval, then the film with live accompaniment from the band.
